The print
Vintage apothecary plates cover every inch of these boots in aged parchment tones, passionflowers, amanita, and hellebore rendered beside a death's-head moth, like pages torn from a 19th-century materia medica, complete with faded Latin notes in the margins. The Materia Medica is for the ones who find magic in the archive, wonder folded into every footnote.

Do these come in a wide fit?
These come in one width. If you need more room around the ball and instep, our Leather Boots and Winter Boots come in a separate Wide fit. The Wide Fit Guide has every measurement.
Are these boots actually durable?
The outsoles are heat-bonded: bonded under heat and pressure. There is a steel shank inside for arch support, and the foam insole is cushioned. Built for daily wear, not for a shelf.
How long does shipping take?
Every pair is made to order, which takes 5 to 10 business days. Plan on 2 to 5 weeks in total, and you get a tracking number by email when your pair ships.
What's your return policy?
You have 30 days from delivery to contact us, and one size exchange per order. That exchange ships free on US orders that include Delivery & Fit Protection. Without it, and on all international orders, you cover shipping both ways. Full details
