Why we exist

Too many alternative boots sell the look and skip the quality.

Soles split. Sizes lie. Leather reeks of chemicals the moment you open the box. We've seen the reviews. We've read the Reddit threads.

So we develop our own botanical art in-house and build the boots to survive actual wear, not just a photo. That's the whole plan.

The art

Every print starts here, not in a catalog.

Every foxglove, fern, moth and mushroom on a Skatheia boot is developed and colour-matched in-house before it goes on sale. No stock art. No template packs. If it's on our boots, we made it for our boots.

  • Made in ChinaOur boots are made in China. We say so plainly, because you should know where something comes from before you pay for it.
  • Small batches, real waitWe make in small batches. Some pairs ship from stock, some are made after you order, so plan on 2 to 5 weeks from order to doorstep.
  • Honest about the materialWe're not going to call a synthetic boot eco-friendly. It isn't. We'd rather make fewer of them, and make them last.
  • Wide fit, a real lastWide is a different last, not a bigger number on the box. It opens up 13 millimeters around the ball, instep and midfoot. Order your true size.
